Curtis Bickers is a Board Certified Trial Lawyer in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2010 and a proud member of The Alfred Firm’s trial team.

For over 18 years, Curtis has dedicated his career to advocating for individuals and families who have suffered life-altering injuries or the devastating loss of a loved one. His mission is rooted in compassion, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to securing justice for those in need.

A native Texan, Curtis was raised in Houston, Texas. He earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, where he was actively involved in the Corps of Cadets, holding several leadership positions. While in high school, Curtis achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law – Houston, where he was active in the school’s highly respected mock trial program.

Curtis began his legal career representing various Fortune 500 companies in product liability, employment, and mass tort litigation. Though successful, he soon realized that his true calling was standing up for individuals—not corporations. In 2007, Curtis shifted his focus exclusively to personal injury and wrongful death litigation, fighting for those harmed by the negligence of others.

Throughout his career, Curtis has obtained significant verdicts and settlements on behalf of clients in cases involving offshore injuries, 18-wheeler and commercial trucking collisions, dangerous and defective products, and other catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death matters. His courtroom presence is marked by skillful advocacy and a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and financial toll his clients suffer from when faced life-altering injuries or the loss of a loved one.

For Curtis, the greatest honor isn’t just winning a case—it’s the relationships built along the way. Many of his former clients have stayed in touch over the years, calling to check in or simply express gratitude for how he helped change their lives for the better. Besides obtaining the certification of a Texas Board Certified Personal Injury trial lawyer, Curtis has been recognized by his peers as a Texas Rising Star from 2013 to 2015 and a Texas Super Lawyer from 2015 to 2025.

When he’s not advocating for his clients and their families, Curtis enjoys spending time with his family, supporting the Houston community, and continuing his lifelong commitment to service and leadership.
