Kai Henderson is a trial lawyer who passionately advocates for the best interest of her clients. Her practice is currently dedicated to 100% litigation in all areas of The Alfred Firm including wrongful death, premises liability, and truck accident cases. Her precision, strategy, and unparalleled attention to detail ensures clients receive quality representation that brings results.
A Texas native, Kai attended the University of North Texas where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a minor in Spanish at the young age of nineteen. Kai decided to further her educational advancements and graduated with a Master of Arts in Women and Gender Studies two years later. She went on to begin her career upholding safe home environments for children in foster care through the court system. Kai uncovered a love for fighting for what’s right through litigation and soon after attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
During her time at Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Kai’s diligent advocacy skills resulted in winning the Henry Doyle Moot Court Competition and becoming nationally ranked in the Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition. As a result, she received formal recognition by the Appellate Section of the State Bar of Texas and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers, a national honor society for those who demonstrate phenomenal skill in trial and oral advocacy. Additionally while in law school, Kai was appointed as the Executive Editor of Thurgood Marshall Law Review, interned under federal and administrative judges, and served the Houston community through volunteer positions at the Houston Food Bank and Meals on Wheels.
Kai’s passion, professional experiences, compassionate approach, and education are the driving forces behind her ability to produce excellent results for her clients. When she’s not excelling in the courtroom, Kai enjoys kickboxing, traveling, salsa dancing, and spending time with her two rescue puppies.
